THE EDELCRANTZ CHALLENGE FOR YEAR 2011 IS CLOSED.
The application for this Award is to be made with the Edelcrantz Challenge application form.

The Foundation for New Technology, together with its co-operating partners, announces the fifth Edelcrantz Challenge Award for applications.
The Edelcrantz Challenge carries on the tradition of the innovation awards by the Foundation for New Technology. The Challenge will have a different theme each year.
The Edelcrantz Challenge looks for innovations that have already proven themselves in practice, innovations with potential to have a significant positive impact on the lives of large segments of the population.
The innovations nominated for the Edelcrantz Challenge Award can have technical, process, governance structure, social and other dimensions. The innovations must have some connection to Finland - they must have been developed or applied in Finland.
The exact sum of the award is open, but will be counted in thousands of euros. One or more candidates can be awarded.
The deadline for applications will be announced later. Applications written in English must be submitted electronically through the www-site www.edelcrantz.fi , where additional information is also available.
The winner of the award 2011 is PaintingDb by Stealth Venture Oy.
